Medical The Christian Medical Society of Honduras (ACMEH) works in partnership with MedMisssions to reach under served areas of Latin America. Preventive Health It is hard to imagine that many families do not have something as basic as a toothbrush. Through our outreaches and our work in school systems in poor areas we provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental cleanings, fluoridation, and sealants. We also do health education and pap smears, saving many lives annually through early intervention.
Poverty Relief “He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.” Proverbs 19:17. We help people out of poverty by "teaching them to fish rather than giving them a fish." We provide them with a small agrarian business and train them to manage it. .
